The background texture is an interesting way to set off the Ubuntu logo. Speaking of the logo, I quite like the way you've made it blue. The color is great.
The splash effect is a really great way to show the logo off. It kind of has a "grunge" feel to it that I really, really like. I've seen wallpapers done like this, but not often, as many artists seem to use a shiny effect.
I guess the only suggestion I have would be to put the logo off-center, but that's just my opinion. The logo seems a little small and thin, but you have to make it much smaller to fit on a stamp (I was surprised how small I had to make my images for my first attempts.).
All in all, this is a great stamp. I think it presents an edgy style and something that's really different.
